Hello. A Few Weeks Ago, My Doctor Suggested I Start

Hello. A few weeks ago, my doctor suggested I start taking an Iron Supplement. After I started, my stool softened, and turned dark which I believe to be normal. During the last two weeks, I developed an anal itch. Is this due to the Iron, or the soft stool? Is there something I can do to eliminate the itching? Thanks!
