Hello DR. I Injured Myself A Week Ago In Making

Hello DR. I injured myself a week ago in making a mad dash from my parking lot to home seemingly making a tear in the urethra near the front, probably due to dehydration, which I am remedying daily now. I've been to the DR. to make sure via an ultrasound that nothing else is wrong as the pain travels down to my testicles as well. I'm wondering if this tear will heal on its own provided I take it easy, altho I still need work and be up and about.
