I had an operative hysteroscopy two months ago to remove fibroids. The doctor said he also removed some adenomyosis tissue. My first period after surgery was extremely heavy and painful. He gave me Norcolut for 21 days and told me to return after my next period. Why did he prescribe this drug, and what should I expect in the next period?
