Hello Doctor, Good Noon. My Mother Suffered With Typhoid Recently

Hello Doctor, Good noon. My mother suffered with typhoid recently and just after that she had complaint of short breathing. Her right lung was filled with 2 liters of water. Now the process of water taking out is done and medicines are also going on. But I want to know that does typhoid has something to do with this lung-water infection?
