Hello Doctor . I am a type 2 diabetic. I take meds for diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol. I also had a stroke 2 years ago and am taking warfarin. Last week I received a recall letter from Walgreens about Valsartan. I advised my doctor about it and she prescibed lovastatin as a replacement. However, I am also taking atorvastatin. Is this combination safe? Which one is treating my high blood pressure? And which one is treating my cholesterol?
