Hello Doctor, I Have Been Bitten By My Friends Pet

Hello Doctor, I have been bitten by my friends pet dog on the left side of the hips, on 02nd April 2016, 10.00 am, its a single bite [not really deep] and a scratch with very less bleeding [ I was wearing a track pants ].

The bitten area has started healing now [2 days later] without any ointment & tablets. On day 0 I got vaccinated with glaxo smithkline companies vaccine ‘’Rabipur’’ & now 4 more shots of the same vaccine are due on 3, 7, 14 & 30th day of the bite. I also took a tetanus shot on the very next day of the bite.

Now as per WHO guidelines I fall into category 3 for dog bite, but I have not taken a single shot of ‘’Rabbies Immuno Globulin’’ as suggested by WHO for category 3 people. I am worried due to this and hence asking.. is it necessary to take Rabbies Immuno Globulin as far as my case in concerened.
