Hello Doctor. I would like to ask some questions regarding my brother's surgery. A month ago he got into an accident where he broke his right tibia and fibula. He underwent ORIF and screws and a plate were attached to his tibia. We is still recovering from last months surgery. However, I noticed that his right leg has become skinnier and has red patch of discoloration. Are the red patches normal? What are to be expected post surgery since it's already been a month an it still pains him to use the crutches.
