Hello Doctor, I’m A 17-year-old Male. I Have Been Dealing

Hello Doctor,

I’m a 17-year-old male. I have been dealing with a hydrocele in my right testicle for some time. Recently, I noticed the following issues:

1. My left testicle feels smaller than before and sometimes moves up into the scrotum, especially when I lie down. It feels like it’s hiding or going upward inside.

2. I occasionally experience a mild pain in the left testicle, especially after masturbation. The pain usually settles after a while.

3. Sometimes, the pain radiates from the left testicle into my left inner thigh and groin area. It feels like a pulling or stretching pain when I raise my leg upward.

5. I have no injury, and I haven’t had any major trauma in the area.

6. I'm feeling mentally stressed due to this and am worried if this is something serious like varicocele or testicular damage.

I’m uncomfortable with video or phone calls, so please respond via text message only, if possible.

Please guide me on what could be the issue and what test (like scrotal ultrasound or doppler) I may need to do.
Thank you
