Hello Doctor, My 5 Months Baby Boy Has A 99.6

Hello Doctor,

My 5 months baby boy has a 99.6 fever last night and went down to 96.6 today. Aside from fever he has a cough. And i can hear the plem every time he cough. I called his doctor but there is no available appointment for today so i have to wait till tomorrow to bring him to the doctor. Is there any medicine that i can give go him? Please advise.
