Hello Doctor, My Brother Was Admitted To The Hospital Over

Hello Doctor,

My brother was admitted to the hospital over a month ago for high fever and pharyngitis. The pharyngitis was cured through antibiotics (azithro, clavam and gramix) in a week. However, the fever did not subside. ENT, general physicians and GIs did tests included XRay, multiple blood test for culture, LFT, RFT, urine test, ultrasound, ECG. Most results were near to normal. Because the ultrasound sound some abnormalities in the kidney area, we were sent for a CT scan and a few tiny lymohnodes were visible near the liver and kidney which the doctor suspected to be the side effects of the many antibiotics and the long course of them, or it may also be TB though there were no other significant symptoms of TB. As a trial method to cure the unknown infection, he was given Doxycicline for 2 weeks, then Azithromycine and Cilanem. When the fever was normal, we were sent home. 2 weeks later, he again had over 103°F fever and blood test showed elevated leucocyte count (12000-18000) and CRP levels (over 120). No doctors are able to point out what and where the infection is. It has been over 1 month. What should we do now?
