Hello Doctor,
My daughter is of 6 years old. Her eye vision:
Distance:
LE:SPH:+1.50,CYL:-2.25,AXIS:175,VISION:6/9
RE:SPH:+1.50,CYL:-2.25,AXIS:180,VISION:6/9

During test, she read the last-but-one-line with and without spects, ofcourse, not clearly. She says, it is not clear even with spects during the test. Doctor advised to use spects, without a concrete answer, as to why it is so and advised a tonic "Zyncovit syrup 200ml" twice a day and for next review after 6 months.
Her mother and uncle has eye-sight and her father does not have. I am very much worried that she has spects at this very early age.
Questions in my mind:
1. How do we read the above eye-sight?
2. What is spherical and cylindrical?
3. If we have to tell to anyone about her eye sight, which reading should we tell: Is it spherical or cylindrical?
4. Is this common among these age group children?
5. Can this be hereditary?
6. Can the eye-sight be improved with any food habits?
