Please explain to us the following problem. My father was having itchy ears and so he decided to clean out his ears. So yesterday we used hydrogen peroxide(6.5% w/v), a few drops of it in the ear directly by pouring it into the ears. After some time, though not immediately, my father started having an excruciating pain in the ears. He found it difficult to sleep. It was really painful. What could be the reason? The pain is gone now but we would like your help in using peroxide safely. Kindly tell us what should be done.
