Hello Doctor. Since I Was Younger I Would Rock Back

Hello Doctor. Since i was younger i would rock back and forth and i still do it today. I am 12 years old and i still rock back and forth. It's very soothing but my mother thinks it's not good for me, my sister looks at me like i'm crazy and my brother doesn't like it either. I think it's my mom's fault that i'm rocking. When i was little i started crying and my mother came and held me and started rocking me back and forth. Doctor can you help me with my rocking problem?
