Hello Dr~ My Husband Had A Lacuna Stroke In Oct

Hello Dr~ My husband had a lacuna stroke in Oct and has been on Eliquis 5 mg x 2 daily since. He has a fib and I think should have been on a blood thinner prior. My question- is it safe to take a effervescent curcuminoids 135 mg. I know it is a blood thinner, and have read that it should be used with caution while taking the Eliquis.
What are your thoughts?
