Hello Dr. Rynne: I Have Just Received A Diagnosis Of

Hello Dr. Rynne: I have just received a diagnosis of breast cancer from a biopsy. I am seeing an oncological surgeon this Friday, so until then I have no further information, even though I asked. The biopsy was the result of an ultrasound and 'agonizing' mammogram. Those tests were precipatated by a wonderful radiologist catching a small (5cm or mm?) spot during a lung CT to baseline my lungs for smoking. (I quite smoking in 2007). What are the 'parts' of the pathology report, and which of those should I consider most significant in relation to the severity of the diagnosis? I am a life and disability insurance agent (age 59) and my underwriters don't like cancer at all, but they always want to see 'all the levels' of the pathology report. thank you in advance for any enlightenment you can provide. My email is YYYY@YYYY . all the best, molly
