I just found out two days ago my best friend of 41 years has stage four small cell lung cancer. She has had 3 sessions of Chemo. Her daughter said that in 2-4 weeks she'll have her second round of chemo. If all goes well she can be in remission for 2-3 mos. Dr. said she probably has 10-12 mos. to live. Do you think she should get in touch with the Mayo Clinic in Az. for a second opinion?
