Hello Dr. Rynne, If A Person Ingests Contaminated Food While

Hello Dr. Rynne, If a person ingests contaminated food while dining out, how much time generally elapses before nausea etc occurs. We dined last night, about 7pm. Felt fine this am. Purchased a hot lunch at 1pm today . It smelled good & I did have an appetite. Felt very nauseated within minutes of consuming lunch. I called the place where I purchased lunch & the manager said his knowledge of the food service says it's not likely it could occur that quickly. I'd appreciate your input doctor. Thank you.
