Hello Dr. Rynne, A Month Ago I Began Waking Up

Hello Dr. Rynne, a month ago I began waking up with pain and stiffness on my neck just under the base of the skull behind my head on the right side, but always after 10 or 15 minutes of walking around it would go away and I would be fine for the rest of the day. Then 2 days ago I woke up with the same thing but this time it did not go away and has continued for a couple days. My ability to turn my head is limited with this condition. I have no other symptoms, no dizziness, no nausea, no temperature. Also, nothing is swollen on my neck. It looks normal. Advil does not work to get rid of the stiffness or pain. Neither does Aleeve. Any advice or ideas on what is going on with this would be appreciated. Thanks, Sidney
