For about a month now, I have experienced a sensation of smelling what I identify as stale deep-fried fat. I don't use any product like that and don't eat any food prepared that way and don't live in proximity to a fast-food place that uses deep-frying. It causes a degree of unpleasantness and mild nausea but not anything unmanageable.
This seems to alternate with a scent of burnt paper, although not always directly connected and not with any apparent association.
It's more annoying than anything. Any thoughts?
