Hello, Four Days Ago I Crushed My Big Toe Opening

Hello,
Four days ago I crushed my big toe opening a door. It didn't break, but the nail turned purple and bled, so I soaked it in water for a while and that seemed to get the bleeding to stop. However, clear fluid has been oozing a bit around the edges of the nail the last four days and I have no idea why. I should probably also note that I have been putting bandaids on it (and also giving it time to air out), and a couple days ago I accidentally cut the nail a bit too short at the corner, and also that my toe is still sore and I find it hard to walk in closed-toed shoes. So my questions are, what is this fluid coming from my toe, and is there a way to make it stop?
