Hello, Have Hx Of GERD. Lately Have Burning In Back

Hello, Have hx of GERD. Lately have burning in back of throat and mid esphogous. uvola also seems to be elongated, as I can feel it on back of tongue and sometimes it feels like food is hanging up in throat. Some foods seem to cause burning sensation to be heightened. Taking omerprazole as needed, but condition has persisted. Also have an ongoing absess on front upper tooth. had one course of antibiotics for it. Tooth had root canal 10+ years ago. No pain, fever or notable swelling. Thoughts?
