Hello. I Tested Positive For Mono About Four Months Ago

Hello. I Tested positive for mono about four months ago and started noticing that my hairline was receding. The doctor told me that i shouldnt lose my hair for a long time. About a month later a different doctor told me this was completely normal from mono. Now my hair is growing back but seems to Fall back out as my hair continues to recede slowly. I am 18 and use to drink which i realized was speeding the Process so i stopped and i just quit smoking a couple Weeks ago. Is this normal? What should i expect?
