Hello, I Accidentally Breathed In A Decent Amount Of Refrigerant

Hello, I accidentally breathed in a decent amount of refrigerant about 3 weeks to a month ago when I was chipping ice out of a mini fridge. I became sick shortly after, with a very irritated throat. I waited it out, because I read that it takes a large amount of refrigerant to do any permanent damage and I don't have health insurance. Anyway, most of the irritation has gone away, but one thing that remains is that some things taste and smell VERY bad. Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Gatorade all have this strange taste. Most shower gels, shampoos and deodorants also have a smell that is very closely related to the taste from the drinks I previously mentioned.

I have tried to look some stuff up online, but have failed to find anything remotely addressing my issue. Is this a common issue for people who inhale refrigerants? Should I expect to deal with this for the rest of my life? Or can I expect that it will subside with time?

Thank you for any insight you may have on this issue. I would really like to go to a doctor, but unfortunately I don't have the money or insurance to do so.
