Hello I Am 23 Years Old, My Right Testicle Started

Hello I am 23 years old, my right testicle started to hurt a little and was told by my gp I had epidimyditis, I was prescribed 1 weeks worth of antibiotics and finished that prescription one week ago. The pain has nearly gone away now, I feel a slight ache but was told that will go away in time as the antibiotics have killed the infection. Is that correct?
