Hello, I Am 55 Years Old And About 15 Years

Hello, I am 55 years old and about 15 years ago I had horrible chest pain so doctors did a chest X-ray that showed a mild pneumonia with pleurisy. At that time the X-ray showed what looked like numerous lymph nodes in my chest (behind the sternum) and abd. Coincidently I had been having low grade fevers (almost daily) for years that had been investigated by numerous doctors without a diagnosis. This combined with the X-ray led to a possible diagnosis of lymphoma. I had a biopsy of the lymph nodes in my chest but once in their they discovered it was an signif enlarged thymus gland. They did a biopsy af the thymus that was negative for malignancy. At that time I was told no further treatment was necessary. Since that time the fevers have resolved. Should I be following up on this enlarged thymus glad. I am concerned. I am an RN so as the saying goes. A little knowledge can be a bad thing. Thank you for your time.
