Hello. I am a 31 year old woman and I have always had a heart issue where my heart will beat slower with palpitations. I have a history of Heart Disease in my family as well as stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure, and hypo thyroid disease. I was diagnosed a few years ago with Hypothyroid and was taking medication to bring up my levels. My doctor stated my levels were actually not to bad, just a little low so after being on the medication my levels were normal. Lately my palpitations are irregular but when they come I get very dizzy, lightheaded, and they will wipe me out for the rest of the day. It is hard to say what causes them because I am on anti anxiety medication and I do have about 1 cup of coffee a day. I have an appointment with my primary doctor tomorrow afternoon. I need to know what kinds of tests to ask for and what kinds of questions to ask my primary. Thank you for your help. Erin Elliott.
