Hello. I am a 46 year old female. History of MVP and family history of MI's (mom and grandma) at ages of 52 and 55.
I recently had an episode of very mild nausea, pain in chest, mostly center, left chest and shoulder. I felt very weak, unsteady, sick and then mild pain/numbness in left arm with bicep feeling like lead weight. No shortness of breath or sweating. I failed to go to the ER. I was seen in urgent care the next day. Symptoms improved but did not feel 100%. No labs were done. Only an EKG. Results Diffuse low voltage, Old interior infarct- Decreasing R wave progression maybe secondary to pulmonary disease. Abnormal with old changes decresing R wave progession. Sinus Rhythm 83, no acute ischemia. Last EKG 2 months ago showed Prominent R (V1) and left axis -nonspecific. Possible anterior fascicular block. MD told me I had a PR prolongation and see cardiology with in 2 weeks. He also informed me I wasnt sick enough to have had an MI. My mom had a MI and EKG was so called normal x 2. Then she was in ER being transported to cardiac cath lab and had stents placed. Thank you for your opinion.
