Hello, I Am A 49 Yo White Male In Excellent

Hello, I am a 49 yo white male in excellent health. I was prescribed amoxicillin and methylprednisolone package 2 days ago for lingering chest congestion, ear and sinus issues, which I attributed to infection. I am on day 2 of the medication, but this evening began to experience increased headache (base of head) and pressure/ringing in my ears. Almost as if I was experiencing altitude pressure in an airplane that will not release. I have taken 2x200mg motrin but does not seem to relieve. Could this be a sign of something other than sinus infection, or possibly reaction to medication (which I have not had before)? Thank you for taking my question. S.Martin
