Hello, I am a 57 year old female. I received a tick bite on my back, in July 2016 , which caused a hive reaction that spread across left shoulder blade area. I have had continued transient hives on scalp,sides of abd, hips, back of neck and have had to have several courses of prednisone to get any relief. Currently using Lidex ointment. My hair is thinning. I was treated with doxycycline at onset and have negative Lyme titer. Dermatologist feel its a contact dermatitis but areas of hives vary and no new products. Stress seems to exacerbate hives and itching.
