Hello. I am a 63-year-old female. In 1999 I had renal papillary necrosis in my right kidney with a systemic infection with a candidiasis mass in it. That was removed through surgery, and IV drugs put me in remission. I've had no infections since then. Fast forward to now: Three small kidney stones got in the defunct kidney and I had a trip to the ER. I was prescribed Flomax and Toradol. My question is: How will the stones get through my lobulated kidney with no blood flow and go out through a damaged Ureter? Can they be dissolved? Also, is infection a concern? This has me concerned! I have an appointment with a Urologist soon. I just want to know what to expect until then. Thank you. Deborah
