Hello. I Am A Long-time Painter That Has Used House

Hello. I am a long-time painter that has used house paint as a medium for about a month now. There were times when I left the lids off the jars inside my home. Over the years, my memory has greatly declined and I am only 20. Sometimes I will forget what Im doing at work. Today I learned how harmful it was and threw away all my paints, tools, and canvases that had wet paint on them. Are there any more precautions I could take to help my memory? Thanks.
