Hello, I am a male mid 20's. I have a large swelling around the tailbone region. After a week of icing, I started using heat and there has been a noticeable brown liquid discharge from the area after a few minutes on the heating pad. This happened on every instance and it seems the swelling has gone down a bit. Preliminary research indicates it it a cyst of some kind, but can someone verify? Will continuing this course of action help remove the inflammation?
