Hello, I Am A Young Female Who Recently Started Her

Hello, I am a young female who recently started her period for this month. I noticed that the one or two days before I started my period, I had to pee a lot. I'm not sure how much, but I know I would get the urge at least once per hour during the day and at night I had to at least go once or twice. This is the first time I ever really noticed this. Some say this is normal, some say this is not. Can you tell me if its normal or not? Thanks!
