Hello, I Am An 80 Year Old Widow And Have

Hello, I am an 80 year old widow and have started having very loose and light in color bowel movements. I had been taking iron but recently quit taking it. Of course when I was taking the iron, stools were black in color and were not loose. I am concerned about this change and wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I have an awful lot of heartburn. I have tried to cut back on my intake of tea and chocolate which seem to aggravate the heartburn. I am also a survivor or Hodgkins Lymphoma and have one through chemo, etc. Should I see about getting a colonoscopy or do you have any other suggestions for me? I am also in stage 3 kidney failure and see a doctor for that malady regularly.

Thanks in advance for any help.
