Hello, I Am Asking About My 32 Year Old Son.

Hello, I am asking about my 32 year old son. He has been diagnosed with generalized panic disorder. However, so many of his symptoms are like hyperthyroidism. I hear it runs in families. His grandmother had her thyroid removed when she was in her thirties and his sister developed postnatal thyroiditis after having her first baby. Is it possible that it could be hyperthyroidism instead of GPD? Thanks!
