Hello, I am concerned about my husband. For about 4 weeks now he has had a severe pain on the right, upper abdomen. This pain usually gets a lot worse when he coughs and the area when he has the pain "bulges" and "contracts". He is a smoker and has a smokers cough. He also has had an ongoing condition as to right under the right side of his abdomen where the pain has began hurting him recently, what I believe to be4e his stomach muscles would tense up "tighten" like a contraction and then subside. this also happens on the left side. Now at this moment, the new pain area is hurting worse and has caused him to vomit, stay feeling nauseated, dizzy feeling when sitting, standing up, walking or doing any other movements. He also has cold and hot sweats and shivers. There has not been a fever as of yet. His father died of cancer and this has me very worried. He is on the bedroom floor laying in front of the fan and has feel asleep but keeps waking up saying that he is in pain. I asked him if he wants to get up on the bed and he responds by saying " no because I will star feeling sick to my stomach again and then start hurting more". He also stated that when he vomits that it hurts his stomach really bad. What should I do to help him?
