Hello, I Am Concerned About My Mother. She Recently (2-3

Hello, I am concerned about my mother. She recently (2-3 wks.) experienced a severe headache with related light sensitivity. She believes that she passed out for an indeterminate length of time. Other initial complaints were nausea, dizziness, mobile instability and lack of appetite. Physical symptoms have receded over the weeks following onset. However she continues to c/o of flashing lights and parts of her vision disappearing and reappearing with no identified warning signs. She had an MRI; and her PCP has referred her to a neurologist, while her Optometrist states there is no way she had a stroke. The soonest appt she has been able to find w/neuro; is the end of May. My questions are do you think she needs to be seen sooner? and what should we say to express what we believe makes this an urgent matter? I am afraid she will be dead before then.
