Hello, I Am Concerned If My Birth Control May Have

Hello, I am concerned if my birth control may have failed me or not. Im currently on my hormone free week waiting for my period to come. Which usually is today, but so far it hasn't and I am getting a little nervous. I am on the patch. I've been on the patch about 7 months and what I feel have became regulated. I make sure to change my patch once a week every friday, and then on my patch free week I typically get my period 3 days later and it lasts for 5 days. I recently had to switch to the generic brand xulane after ortho evra got discontinued. Its been a month since I've switched. I didn't take a break or anything I just continued my regular routine each friday and just put the xulane patch on instead of the ortho evra. This week is my first patch free week of the xulane brand and Im waiting for my period to come on monday like it always has.... I did have unprotected sex in the past week. However I've done this plenty of times before and I've always seemed to have my period on time... just want answers on why this patch free week may be different or if I am just overthinking..
