Hello, I Am Currently Experiencing Pain In My Lower Back/hip

Hello, I am currently experiencing pain in my lower back/hip area (left side). It is very uncomfortable to sit and lay on my left side. As long as I'm standing and moving around, I'm not in much pain. As soon as I sit or try to turn to my left side, the pains gets really uncomfortable. Recently my left thigh has become numb and when I scratch it feels weird. I have a very high tolerance for pain; should I be concerned or ride it out in hopes that it will get better with time?
