Hello, I Am Currently Pregnant But Have A Question. I

Hello,
I am currently pregnant but have a question. I had an appointment yesterday and they did not answer my question yesterday or didn't hear me. I should be around 8 weeks pregnant but only showing around five on the ultrasound. Why would this happen? Late ovulation maybe? I just want an answer because I am worried I won keep this baby. I have already lose one. Thank you
