Hello, I Am Currently Taking Norimin 28 Day Birth Control

Hello,
I am currently taking Norimin 28 day birth control pill to regulated my period. I have been on it for 21 days today. The past week I have experienced bleeding. I wasn't sure whether its best to skip the inactive pills and carry on with my next packet of active pills, hoping the bleeding will stop in time for the 31st (going to the beach) or to take the inactive pills considering I am already currently bleeding and have been for a week. I checked at the chemist yesterday, the guy I spoke to suggest to skip the inactive pills this month, and I should be right for the beach on the 31st. But I thought id just ask around, just to make sure.
I'm not sure what to do.
