Hello. I am experiencing ugly toenails. I have had beautiful toenails always. I recently took on a job which involves me standing for at least 4 to 6 hours in a day. I am a retiree who only did a desk job, sitting daily. It appears to be under the toenails only. I noticed bruise blood and heavy crust under the nails when I went to get a pedicure. The person doing my pedicure noticed a change in my toenails, for she has been giving me pedicures for years. What could be my problem? Could I have toenail fungus or infection? If so, what can I do other than seeing a podiatrist?
