Hello.
I am fast approaching 20 years old, and for the second month in a row now I have noticed that my menstrual cycle is a little ... off balanced. I completely understand that due to changing factors in my body, my menstrual cycle will continue to fluctuate as I get older, but I just wanted to double check to see if I may need to visit my local doctor.
I've always had a 28-32 day cycle every since my cycle began when I was 14 years old. However, last month, my cycle was supposed to begin August 23rd, and it didn't appear until September 1st. It lasted for two days, (Usually averages from about 4-5) with a normal-ish flow. Leading up to my cycle, I had mild cramping for a day (the 22nd) and then not a single sign of anything else until the 1st. I do have unprotected sex, and thinking it was a possibility that I may be pregnant, i took a pregnancy test August 23rd and got a negative result. I have not "missed" another period yet, but it is soon to arrive, and i am again experiencing very light cramping and then nothing else. I realize that I should maybe wait until it has been deemed as a "missed" period I suppose, but I'm too anxious and I had to ask. Please get back to me as soon as possible, thank you.
