Hello. I Am Having HORRIBLE Pain Down The Left Side

Hello. I am having HORRIBLE pain down the left side of my lower back pelvis and butt are! My buttocks is actually where the most severe pain is! What can this be and what can I do to relieve this pain? I cant lay down straighten my left leg sit comfortably its bad!! Thanks
