Hello, I am having issues swallowing. It started about 2- 2 1/2 weeks ago. It felt like the thing in the back of your throat that starts your swallow wasn't working right. Then I started feeling like the left side of my throat was numb (don't know how else to describe it). Could still fell it if I touched it but it was like I couldn't feel my swallow on that side. That was about 9 days ago. Since then it has felt like the muscles are not working right. hard to swallow. My 2nd rapid strep test did come back positive. However I don't really have pain just trouble swallowing. Was on Augmentin from Friday through wedsnesday, skipped 3 doses because I thought it was making it worse and my first rapid test was neg. when I got the 2nd rapid test this past Friday I started taking it again. So 2 1/2 days on the 2nd round. Could this all be strep?
