Hello! I Am Having Problems With My Sciatic Nerve. It

Hello! I am having problems with my sciatic nerve. It has been inflamed since the 30th of December. I have been seen in the ER and by Dr at clinic, injection if Toradol and steroid injection. I have been on Tylenol,Advil and my husband had been given Gabapentin for broken ribs I began taking them because I am in severe pain! Is this medication good for sciatic pain? I am also type II diabetic also! This pain is like none other!!!
