Hello I Am Not Sure But I Had My Period

Hello I am not sure but I had my period 2 weeks ago and after I went out and had a beer the next day I just started bleeding. Then later on that night it stopped I then went out again the next day no bleeding but the following day out of nowhere I'm bleeding. Both times blood was bright red and I'm a virgin and all the articles say you might be pregnant but that is not possible could alcohol be effecting my period?
