Hello, I Am Only 16 And I Am Very Embarrassed

Hello, I am only 16 and I am very embarrassed to be asking this but I don't know what else to do. Last week a red spot appeared on one of my areola and quite soon grew a head. The spot itself also grew quite large and it was very sore to touch. I got a bath and put a warm flannel on it and a watery pus leaked out of it. Now it is just a red spot but it is very hard and still quite sore. What could this be? I am very worried, I have a family history of breast cancer and I can't stop worrying. Thank you in advance.
