Hello I Been Spotting A Few Days And Today I

Hello I been spotting a few days and today I was having sharp cramping I took midol thinking it could be my period comin, then after an hour I went to the restroom and took out a big mass of a white clot. Should I be scared? I took the white cloth to a lab and they told me to wait for results next Friday, but I'm really scared it could be a miscarriage.
