Hello. I Fell Very Hard Two Days Ago And Broke

Hello. I fell very hard two days ago and broke my big toe's nail. Its still attached at the cuticle. I was seen in an ER and the PA just taped it down and said to leave it this way for a week. My toe is becoming numb from the discomfort. It seems ridiculous that it wasn't even disinfected in the ER. Should I go back to a different ER or see a podiatrist? I'm worried.
